The Star Hotel Southampton

The Star is situated in a historic part of Southampton. Numerous parks and the shopping centre are easily reachable. The train station is a 20 minute walk away. In immediate proximity there are docks where a lot of cruise ships leave, including the ferry to the Isle of Wight. In the early 18th century many members of the royal family lived in the hotel. The Victoria Room recalls a visit from the duchess of Kent and later Princess Victoria in the year 1831.
